evolving destiny / raised by belief / deity

evolving destiny prohibits changing the character's background. However can a choice made as part of the background be changed? Specifically, can the character whose background is raised by belief select a different deity during the rebuild? is the answer to this question documented anywhere or is it just in someone's opinion?

That doesn't really happen.

Your best bet is to reach out to your local venture agent/captain who organizes the games. They usually chat with others in the region, so you can get a semi-official ruling or guidance.

My instinct would be to say, "No, you cannot change the deity chosen with Raised by Belief." You can't rewrite your character's past, so even if they've converted to another religion or abandoned faith entirely, that doesn't change what they learned in their formative years.
