Magic Items Which Boost Natural Armor?

Advice

Sovereign Court

Besides the Amulet of Natural Armor, are there any other magic items which boost nat. armor even less efficiently? I'm considering a sorcerer based nat weapon build (for PFS) which would require an Amulet of Mighty Fists, and I don't want to tank his AC long-term.

Greater hat of disguise, probably an ioun stone, potions. Also an option: Not worrying about it.

Wand of barkskin, if you can make the UMD roll.

There's not much that I know of. Scrolls of Barkskin and UMD will get you a +2 30 minutes at a time. Being a Nagaji gets you a +1, plus a STR and CHA bonus. Not bad for a melee Sorcerer. I'm assuming you've already ruled out Draconic Bloodline in favor of something else.

For a rather pricey expendable for frequent use, Bottled Yeti Fur.

EDIT: Monstrous Physique at higher levels.

I guess I should have mentioned - I'm looking for a natural armor enhancement bonus. I'm headed Dragon Disciple, so I'll already have a base natural armor. (Yes - I know my AC won't be terrible - but I like a good AC for my melee characters, especially since my HP is so low until level 7-8 when the d12 HDs start coming in.)

Don't forget that you can craft an Amulet of Natural Armor into an Amulet of Mighty Fists and have both.

Then you're pretty much going to need some way to pick up Barkskin, I think. A wand would be pricey. You can get scrolls of 5 castings for 150gp. For a lot of dungeon crawls, 2 uses of a scroll will get you through the whole thing. Sometimes one.

Technically, for PFS, since Barkskin is on the Summoner list, a scroll would be both arcane and divine. That opens up the pricey option of buying a Ring of Spell Knowledge III. That would let you gain Barkskin as a known spell and cast it out of a third level spell slot.

He mentioned it's for PFS. No crafting.

Hm? ...Oooooh, you're right. I missed that. Nevermind!

Well, there is the Ring of the Savage Beast (+4 Strength, -2 Int, which won't make much of a difference to a Sorcerer), and that gives +2 to Natural Armor.

Interesting. I'll probably go that route then, though it doesn't help until level 6-7. *heavy sigh*

Thanks much.

Boost UMD and use scrolls until then. Not all the time, but when you're expecting trouble. It's a DC 23, but as long as you don't roll a 1, nothing bad will happen if you fail. High UMD is good on a sorcerer anyway. Especially a melee sorcerer to be able to use divine buffs like Divine Favor. It's [EDIT: Barkskin] not a personal spell, so you can always hand them off to be cast on you if there's someone in the group with it on their spell list.
