What happens if you play a 1-5 scenario (that rewards faction boons) with a lv 1 character of the appropriate faction, but decides to rebuild the lv 1 character to another faction for the next game?
Do you retroactively lose those faction boons? Or do you get to keep them?
Pretty sure they go poof.
What faction boon can you get with a level 1 character? At best you get 3 goals and I don't think that is possible.
I would just mark the new faction card in the correct manner if the scenario accomplished a goal on the new faction card.
Some scenarios come with faction-specific boons that are very nice indeed.
Hmm
The Roleplaying Guild Guide covers faction changes.

These are neither faction traits nor prestige awards, though.
Is there any reason they would not be treated the same as a Prestige Award?

Hmm I see now that the OP was talking about boon from a chronicle, not the factions card.
So yes, the boon would become invalid.

Your faction hasn't been retired or a similar special circumstance applied, so I think you'd lose access to the boon, as if you changed factions by paying Prestige.

Usually whichever is funniest.
Anyway, my understanding is that you cannot keep any faction benefits earned when switching factions.

You can always predict an unpredictable man to be unpredictable.
