Is it ok that I type out the info on a chronical sheet and send it via email?

I am going to be running a pathfinder society session over roll20 and I am just wondering about filling out the chronical sheets.

Yes - for the longest time, I filled out chronicle sheets for online games by taking screenshots of the chronicle, then using Photoshop to fill in the relevant parts and send the images to the players.

Or you can just edit the pdf. Or convert the pdf to some other format and edit that. Usually simpler

I find this to be very common practice, especially for online play.

I use Fox it reader

File Print.

Change the Printer to foxit PDF printer. "Print" only the last page. Save as ScenarioChron or something. New tab pops up with the chronicle sheet.

Press the Comment tab. That gives you the pen typewriter and everything.

File Save as BobsSunOrchChron

Or i'll usually be lazy and just sign it and let people fill it in rather than filling out saving and sendingg 6 copies.

I will usually post the sheets as handouts in teh roll20 game itself - either a PDF or as a jpg.

I cut out the chronicle from the PDF.

Open it in chrome
Hit print
It will give you the option to save as, just save the chronicle page.

Voila, you have a pdf just of the chronicle page.

I used to them export it to a pdf editing programme but the fill and sign option in the basic free adobe reader lets you fill them in easily enough now.

Retyping it would be 'altering' the chronicle which is illegal. The pdf suggestions mentioned above are allowed because it is easier to verify any illegal alterations.
