We had a bit of an argument lately on these cards, so to the forums I go:
1: Dogslicer says:
"For your combat check, you may reveal this card to use you Strength or Melee skill + 1d6; you may additionally discard this card to add another 1d6.
If any d6 rolled for this weapon is a 1, count it as 3, then discard this card."
Am I correct in assuming that the second power applies even if you used the first power to discard the Dogslicer (and you simply "ignore the impossible instructions" to discard it a second time)?
2: Do I HAVE to have another character at my location to cast Mass Cure?
I found another thread on this, but it was way back in the dawn of per-historic PACG times, and somehow no dev decided to pitch in. Just to clarify, all people on my table agree what the card SAYS; the argument arises because no-one actually believes the intent would be for this card to be so strictly inferior to a Basic Cure (and I know there're opinions why this was a *balance call*, and that even with it this a very strong card - but I'm giving my table's perspective here).

If any d6 rolled for this weapon is a 1
I have another question based on this rule: do I apply this rule only for di(c)e strictly binded with this weapon (basic 1d6 and maybe additional 1d6 if I discarded this card voluntarily), or to any d6 on this check (Strength die, additional dice from mass spells such as Acid Fog, etc.)?

If any d6 rolled for this weapon is a 1
These days, cards like this say "if any d6 rolled on this check is a 1..."
