Can I have more than 1 orange prims stone ?

Rules Questions

I have 2 cracked prims stone that makes my cantrips fix. But what I care are caster level that orange prims granted. It gives +2 caster level if I have 2 cracked prims stone. But considered slotless item.

This bugs me for pale ruby trillian that gives circumstances bonus for stealth. Cracked ones are 200 for 1 circumstances stealth bonus. While the normal ones cost 5000 for 5 competence bonus. I could buy 5 cracked for cost 0f 2
1000 gold....

Is there a rules for slotless items ?

You can't have more than one of the same identical bonus, having two of those stones is like having two bull strengths cast on you... they don't stack. Slots are not the issue here, it's the identical bonus.

Dark Archive

I'm interested to know this rule, too. These ioun stones are providing unnamed bonuses so they would normally stack, but are they considered from the "same source"? The item description doesn't indicate whether multiples would stack, unlike other ioun stones.

nice. thanks for answer :D

The Exchange Owner - D20 Hobbies

Things from the same source doesn't stack, so 100 orange ioun stones would overlap for +1 CL total.

Scarab Sages

James has the right of it. Bonuses from the same source(read: the same item, spell, feat, what-have-you) never stack unless the item specifically says it does stack.
This is not related to bonuses of the same type not stacking.
