We know it's gonna happen eventually, instead of having our first page filled with discussions about Batman and Paladins exclusively, let's get on top of it and keep the batman stuff to one thread. Builds, role playing, inspirations, alignment, all of it can be done in one thread.

My inspiration here is a combination of what we've seen from the most recent film, which is itself a combination of The Dark Knight Returns and the Animated Series. Not afraid to kill and openly admitting he is a criminal, my interpretation of Batman here is obviously CN. Tactics are hiding, then ambushing an enemy with Mad Rush triggering Frightening Appearance and delivering a full round of Avenging fists. I find Power Attack a bit unnecessary, but I would probably pick it up later if I ran out of feats.

I'm Batgnome!

You can't contain both Paladins AND Batman in ONE place. You might as well try sticking two Rovagugs in the same vault. :-)

Just Batman.
We're civilized adults, clearly we're more organized by that.

Needs more Gravelly Tonic

I have a batman-like NPC in my game. He's a Brawler/Investigator Gestalt, using the brawler side for his combat abilities (martial flexibility is great for the "I know Martial arts." "Which ones?" "All of them."). His investigator side is used to solve crimes with his alchemy and super high skill checks, along with studied combat boosting his combat even higher. He is terrifyingly effective.

He has a Halfling rogue as a sidekick.

Minor note but you cant put Brawling on a Mithral Medium armor. It is still a medium armor.

There was a thread about it somewhere and the conclusion was that it's medium/light when convenient.

Otherwise I'd switch it no problem.

you can’t enhance a mithral breastplate with special abilities that require it to be light armor, like brawling

Adamantine kikko with a skirt then.

I'll need a bit to redo the maths.

You mean an Armored Kilt? interesting notion but why not just go with a brawling chain shirt?

At one point I had a actual reason, I don't know what it was now.

I was mistaken, I thought kikko was light.

An Adamantine chain shirt with Brawling would be ideal, with an armored kilt added after. I'm unsure as to whether or not Brawling continues to function when adding the kilt however.

Shouldn't he get Leadership for his bard-wonder with Perform: bad puns?

Designer and Developer comments have debated about how an Armored Kilt functions because pathfinder does not otherwise use piecemeal armor rules and it results in difficult situations like this. For instance, can you enchant the two separately to stack non numerical armor enchantments cheaply? For PFS i would assume worst case scenario, in a home game talk it over with the GM before you bring in the character and see how they feel about it.

PFS banned the armored kilt long ago (for good reason - not only are its rules a hot mess, but it's an OP hot mess) so it's moot there.

... I cant believe this is happening but for once I actually... I agree with a PFS ban. Whoa. I, uh, I need to go sit down for a bit.
