Blaster Shaman - Fire and brimstone

Advice

I've never looked at the shaman class before, it seemed to me to be one of the less appealing hybrid classes that are offered, so I mostly overlooked it.

But its time has come. I'd like to play an evil swamp dwelling pyromancer with wis as his primary stat, that blasts enemies away with sheer fiery death. But I don't really have any idea where to start, ive looked at the guides, and they all mention blasters being an option, but because it's supposedly "not what they do best" it isnt discussed in detail.

So I figure i'd come here for advice, how do I build a fire themed shaman blaster? Note: For this particular session i'm looking for him to be as optimised as possible, so if you can, pull out all the stops on maximising his damage.

(I know he wont be as suited to the role of blaster as much as other classes, that's why i'd like to push the powergaming aspect as far as possible so he can hopefully keep up.)

Extra info: Going human with Dual Talent: +2 Dex, +2 Wis, hope that helps.

I'd like suggestions for everything from feats to hex choices, I usually choose only flavourful options / cool utility, so building for power is out of the ordinary for me.

Thanks in advance for your time.

What level range are you looking at?
Unfortunately, Shaman don't have much cool Blaster stuff beyond "we can take traits/feats and have lots of fire spells." You want Flame Curse to be cool, but it's a standard action with a 1-3 round duration so the action economy sucks.

Produce Flame+Imp Unarmed Strike+Hex Strike(Flame Curse) might work around 8th?

Your basic options are:
Lore or Lore/Flame with Fireball form Arcane Enlightenment. You need a 13 Int and a bit of Cha to do this.
Flame/Waves with Fluid Magic to let you prepare lots of fireballs.

Feats/Hexes are probably Metamagic stuff and Spell Focus feats. But you're still not doing much more than casting Fireball for Xd6 Empowered as a 3rd level spell.

Depending on how you read Flame Blade, there might be a Flame Blade crit fishing build using Vortex Spells. But that won't feel like a Blaster.

Yeah, basically you have to make use of hexes to boost your damage-dealing, so action economy suffers. Otherwise, it's metamagic and very narrow focus.

I'd take Flame Shaman and its hexes, particularly Flame Curse and Fire Nimbus. Also, Evil Eye and Misfortune to make it harder to resist the spells.
For Wandering Spirit or the Spirit Talker feat: as Markov indicated, Wind's Vortex Spells hex or Water's Fluid Magic Hex to augment spells and Lore's Arcane Enlightenment can allow you to poach a few Sorcerer/Wizard spells, also.

The feats you'd want might be Accursed Hex to redo those hexes that miss, and the usual metamagics (maximize, empower, etc.). You can get one for free from the Secret hex. Burning Spell gives another round.

At higher levels, there are rods for hexes.

EDIT:
There's also Elemental Focus and Elemental Spell - the latter gives you more flexibility with your damage spells, so may be a higher priority.
