Simple question-it says slayers can take each talent only once unless otherwise stated. I'm not finding it stated in any of them really. Only one is Ranger Combat Feat. But can I only take it 3 times at early levels. Can I take it a fourth time? I can take Rogue Talent multiple times to gain different Talents. Does that mean I can take combat trick multiple times?
the only one is ranger feat, and that's only up to 3 times. everything else is only once.
It means unless it states you can take it more than once, you can't take it more than once.
For example, "Deadly Range (Ex): A slayer with this talent increases the range at which he can deal sneak attack damage by 10 feet. A slayer can select this talent more than once; its effects stack. A slayer must be at least 4th level before selecting this talent."
A slayer can take Deadly Range more than once.
Rogue talent doesn't say it can be taken more than once, but advanced rogue talent does.
For Ranger Combat Styles, he can only take those feats a max of 3 times, with the levels indicated (2, 6, & 10) as the earliest for each feat.
