By spending 1 point from his ki pool, a monk can do one of the following:
Make one additional attack at his highest attack bonus when making a flurry of blows attack
At 4th level, in addition to the normal abilities of his ki pool, a zen archer may spend 1 point from his ki pool to increase the range increment for his bow by 50 feet for 1 round.

Yes there is no doubt for the vanilla monk, but the Unchained monk has the "unarmed strike" classifier after the additional attack. Would it still work?
Edit: I only ask because my GM was nice enough to adjust the Zen Archer to work with the Unchained Monk, but if I can't get the extra attack than it wasn't worth it.

If you're GM was nice enough to allow an unchained Zen Archer He'll probably allow you to use the ki point for extra attacks.
