Today we released our latest Mythic Mini devoted to occult characters, Mythic Mini 84: Kineticist and Occultist Feats; we have two more installments in that series before we turn our mini-attention to the feats and more from Ultimate Intrigue!

You can get all the details (and some preview images) here!

We also announced our next three Mythic Monsters books!

Mythic Monsters: Robots,, brought to you by the illustrious Alex Riggs, Russ Taylor, and Jason Nelson, these mythic mechanical marvels and menaces are a great addition to any campaign delving into realms of super-science and savage sorcery, or with a dash of sci-fi mixed with fantasy.

Mythic Monsters: Greek by Jim Groves, Jonathan Keith, and Jason Nelson, with a collection of creatures from classical mythology, from harpies to gorgons, beautiful nymphs and hideous cyclopes, and even the legendary Scylla and Charybdis!

Mythic Monsters: Slavic by Victoria Jaczko, featuring an array of adversaries from Eastern Europe, from domovoi and vukodlaks to rusalkas and the three-headed gorynych!

Beyond that, who can say? China? Japan? North America? India? Africa? We've inquired before, but it never hurts to check in as some folks may have missed our query last time, and Legendary minds want to know:

What kind of new mythic monsters are YOU most excited to see?

I'm looking forward to Mythic Monsters: Slavic! That one sounds great.

As for new mythic monsters, I'd enjoy seeing both North American Indian monsters done up (especially if we could get ones like the Flying Heads), as well as the critters from American tall tales and legends. Lacking that, dare we hope for Mythic Monsters: Cryptids?

I believe the preliminary list for North America is as follows:

gremlin, hobkins
isitoq
sasquatch
digmaul
snallygaster
wikkawak
amarok
leshy, flytrap
saguaroi
Hodag
delgeth
tupilaq
qallupilluk
devil steed (Jersey devil)
megafauna, uintatherium
ijiraq
adlet
Thunderbird
akhlut
wakandagi
manitou
wendigo

As you'll see, it includes a large number of aboriginal creatures plus a handful of more modern cryptids. The above is the uncut list culled from Bestiary 1-5 (plus one from Rise of the Runelords); exactly which ones we do will depend on which ones the authors are most excited to do.

If there are particular North American monsters we've missed or that you'd especially want to see, give them a shout!

That's a plenty great list right there! The only main American cryptid I could think of adding would be Mothman. Maybe the Greys, too; they seem pretty limited to American UFO accounts.

And I never knew that the wikkawak was from real-world folklore. Any hints on where it comes from?

And isn't the wakandagi actually Aussie/Koori in origin?

Oh. My. Goodness.

I just got back the cover art for Mythic Monsters: Greek and it is AMAZING!

Aaaaannnnd, here is Mythic Monsters: Robots, and he's brought some friends!

It's certainly a possibility, though it'll depend on overall sales both for the individual books as well as the the original Mythic Monster Manual. Probably not something we would tackle this year but maybe in 2017 we'll see how things are going and revisit it then.

Speaking for myself, i would really like to see Mythic Monsters India with great effect!
I Think good monsters for such module could be mythic versions of

Garudas
Nagas
Rakshasa (like the Tatara)
Manasaputra
Asuras

India definitely has some great monsters. They're on the list!

This may be a repeat of my previous requests, but I would love a legendary games book of monsters of the troop subtype.

Dare we say... Ultimate Armies?

Got it in one. A section of the book is dedicated to presenting base military units both as units (for mass combat) and as troops (for use in standard adventurer-level tactical combat).

It's been more fiddly but I think I'm close to dialing in a standardized template for the way I want it.

Can I just add a little 'Yes Please' vote here... I am a huge fan of the Mythic Monster Manual - a sequel that pulls on the highlights of the Mythic Monsters series would be awesome...

This is very good news.

Is there any news about Legendary Fighter?

It's still on my list, but I'm slotting it behind the projects that have been waiting the longest. They've gotten bumped too many times for too many other things that it's my resolution for his year to finally get them out the door.

So yes, you'll definitely still see it, but after things like Royal Tournaments, Fort Scurvy, Ultimate Armies, and Way of the Blade.
