Confusing concept. Does weapon focus, and other effects that require specific weapons also function on feats that make things function as those specific weapons.

For Example, The Scrollmaster wizard archetype allows the wizard to wield a scroll or piece of paper as if it were a Shortsword. If the Scrollmaster takes weapon focus: Shortsword, would it apply to the scrollmaster class ability to use paper as if it were a shortsword?

Weapon Focus Shortsword on a scroll wielded "as a shortsword" will function by my RAW.

There is table variance on this question, so Ask your GM.
