Hello Folks,
I've got a concept for a LN "infernal lawyer" character via the Asmodean Advocate archetype. (see link below). As I intend to stay out of melee combat as much as possible, opting for dexterity in lieu of strength, I'm looking for any compatible options that let me exchange unneeded armor proficiencies for something at least possibly more useful, even if sub-optimal. The character will be heavily skewed towards social interactions, opting for ranged combat via channel ray and/or ranged weapons/spells. I figure I'm going to be sticking to light armor. Cloistered cleric seems like it might be compatible but I don't claim to be an expert at Pathfinder or PFS so I figured I'd ask her before I show up at a table with the character.
If this option isn't legal, anyone know of any other options that would legally mesh with Asmodean Advocate in line with my previously stated character intent?

Thanks for your help everyone!

They don't stack, sadly. :(
Here's your guide: if another archetype tampers with your domain choices or number thereof at all, it won't stack. In a home game, you could get a house-ruling, but not for PFS.

Okay, one more (quick?) question regarding Asmodean Advocate. It states that "She can use her Profession (barrister) skill for Bluff and Diplomacy checks. This benefit also extends to her familiar." Now, a viper familiar grants a +3 bonus on bluff checks. So, does that bonus still apply if an Asmodean Advocate is using the Profession(barrister) skill in place of a bluff checK? In other words, do you have to actually be rolling a "bluff" check vs. a "profession(barrister) for bluff check" to get the +3 bonus? It seems intent would suggest that, given that you're required to take the viper, that the bonus would apply regardless of what actual skill is being rolled (you're still ultimately attempting to "bluff" someone), and even though it's pretty much perfectly in character to start rules lawyering, I'd rather not have the DM (and the players) hate me THAT much.

It increases the Bluff skill, which doesn't help you when you're making Profession (barrister) checks, even in place of Bluff checks. This is similar to the bard's versatile performance ability. The second line means that your familiar can use its Profession (barrister) skill if it has to make a Bluff or Diplomacy check.
I know, it's counter-intuitive. ^_^

If you do not mind a bit of advice, I think that giving your familiar the Sage Archetype would be very appropriate. Especially after it becomes an Imp.
I don't mind the advice at all, in fact, I welcome it! And thank you for your input regarding the bluff vs. profession(barrister) question.

+3 Bluff from snake stacks with Barrister, depending on the situation.
James Jacobs commented on the link above about a similar situation regarding +5 acrobatics boots stacking with Bard Versatile Performance (Dance)

That does seem to apply, thanks for pointing it out. I have an Asmodean Advocate for PFS myself and had been assuming the bonus was wasted - though will probably continue to do so to avoid having to worry about table variation.
(It is not a strongly built character (due to working toward qualifying for a prestige class that has high skill prereqs), but it is fun.)

I don't know how much mileage a JJ quote from 2009 will get you, in any case. The statement they've made (for years now) is that Mr. Jacobs is Not A Rules Guy, and his rulings are purely for personal games. Some of the wording in the linked thread ("In games I run") even backs that up.
So... it's something. But it's not an end-all, be-all answer to the question, especially in PFS.
Just managing expectations. ^_^
