Let's just say that all the horror movie are real, and you're being given a power by a benelovent god to choose only one base class in Pathfinder Corebook as your power.
Let's say you have to face these monsters :
-Sadako from The Ring
-Kayako from Ju On
-Zombies from Romero Movies
-Zombies from 28 Days
-Things... from Poltergeist
-Things... from The Conjuring
-Jason
-Freddy Krueger
-Michael Myers
-Carrie
-Things... from In The Mouth of Madness
How will you defeat them with your chosen class?

Cleric is probably best-equipped to win. Hide from Undead (1st level spell) is at the very worst, an indefinite stalemate against the zombies- plenty of time to leave, plan, and reequip. Channel Energy will deal a reasonable amount of damage if you're good, Command Undead will let you control the zombies if you're evil. Exceptionally strong will saves means that fear is less likely to be effective. Combined with a combat-capable chassis and strong buffing spells, you could go toe-to-toe with most of these, then Air Walk or Water Walk away from most of them. You could also summon monsters (maybe little archons) to damage your enemies and buff you. Oh, and Plane Shift is an amazing escape/instakill, depending on the circumstance. It's single-target, so you won't be able to take out the zombies, but against, say, Jason, you can laugh as he flounders around the quasi-elemental demiplane of ranch dressing.
