How Can I Cast Out of My Unarmed Strike?

Advice

I am building a gestalt Magus/Ninja Suli that focuses on Lightning attacks and was wondering if there were any feats/magic items/spells/etc. that allowed you to hold a spell like a charge in your hand, and release it with your punch, preferably something viable in combat (so not a Spell-Storing amulet of mighty fists).

Example: Cast Chain Lightning with the first target being the guy I punch.

I already know about Close Range, which affects ranged touch attacks (rays), but what about AoE, Multi-target, and non-touch range spells?

Did you take the Esoteric archetype? It is an archetype from Occult Adventures that lets you fight unarmed like a Monk.

No...I'm using the Eldritch Scion. I would go with the esoteric, but I really want the spontaneous casting and charisma-based arcane pool.

Also esoteric doesn't solve it either. it only states that spellstrikes can only be made with UAS

Technically, that's not really something that spells can do. Most spells apply their effects as soon as they are cast.

However, chain lighting targeting the guy you punch could easily be the flavor of your Spell Combat, you just would not get an extra attack (like you would from casting a touch spell).

You have Pool Strike and Arcing Pool Strike which, while not the Chain Lightening spell, would let you make an electric Pool Strike and arc it to nearby targets. Or, you could negotiate a custom metamagic that mimics the Arcing Pool Strike arcana and apply that to a valid Spellstrike spell (ie. Shocking Grasp).

Or just use shocking grasp like the rest of us :P
