Deadly aim and Mystic Bolt

Rules Questions

Can someone verify this for me...

Assuming Piercing Bolt is optional on my Warlock does that mean I can elect to take Deadly Aim at 3rd and apply it in any given round on a whim?

I can't seem to find anything called "Warlock" or "Mystic Bolt".

Is this 3rd party material?

So long as your ranged attack targets regular AC and deals hit point damage you should be able to use Deadly Aim with it.

I believe it's from the Ultimate Intrigue Vigilante, Nefreet.

That being said, I have no idea.
I haven't seen it, I was just letting Nefreet know where it was from.

Liberty's Edge

Deadly Aim can't be applied to touch attacks, or to attacks with no attack roll.

But if the Mystic Bolt can be a non touch ranged attack that rolls to hit? Deadly Aim probably applies.

Yes, deadly Aim can be applied to mystic bolt. It is a standard ranged attack that deals hitpoint damage. It even explicitly says in the rules text for the ability that you can take feats that apply to weapons - including two-handed fighting.

Hmm... I am "Intrigued" by this...

Maybe I would have hit if I didn't Deadly Aim with the tomato...

Scarab Sages

Piercing Bolts seems to be optional, so you are not forced to make the attack a touch attack if don't want to. If you are attacking standard AC and doing hit point damage then you can use deadly aim.
