i wana create a Pc that can with a concentration check see a persons life force/soul in a non-hostile situations.so after battle it would allow him to study how a creature's soul leaves its body. it would also allow him to sit in a >.> brothel... and watch the moment a new soul takes form.....

so what kind of spells would allow a PC to see a person's life force or soul?

i will want to turn the spell into a pair of spectacles as soon as he can.

i think i would make the character an alchemist since they are always creating weird things.

Try the spell deathwatch as your foundation, and the spectacles of the same name from Ultimate Equipment.

She means Deathwatch Eyes, which uses the deathwatch spell.

The spell aura sight might be sort of kind of useful as an inspiration, as might the trait spirit sense. The life sense ability of some creatures might also be useful in development of spells that function similarly (at least with regards to blindsight).

Other spells that might be useful as inspiration include magic jar, sealed life, create soul gem, and life pact. Items like the Shawl of Life Keeping might also be of use. (Mostly I mention these only as they deal with direct "life force" stuff in their descriptions.)
