Mounted Combat Feats + Familiar riding Master?

Rules Questions

Many of us are familiar with the concept of riding your familiar. A small hero with a flying improved familiar and, for example, undersized mount feat, could easily ride his familiar.

But what about the inverse? If a familiar had Mounted Combat and was "riding" his master (sitting on a shoulder, for example), could he utilize his Mounted Combat Feat to negate a hit on his Mount (the Master?)

This interaction becomes further complicated when you can share combat feats with your familiar (Eldritch Guardian Fighter Archtype) and the Familiar attempts to utilize Spirited Charge and/or Ride-By-Attack with the Master as the Mount.

For a character Concept demonstrating how one would achieve this interaction, feel free to check out this post.

Thanks for your help!

One time bump. Hoping for some clarification.
Thanks

I don't believe there is any ruling preventing you from riding/being ridden by a familiar or PC, but you have to accept both the benefits and the penalties if you chose to view yourself as a mount.

For example:

Are you a combat trained mount? If not, then your familiar would need to make a DC 20 ride check each turn to not lose both your turns. All ride checks would also be made with a -4 penalty since you aren't exactly made for riding.

And you have to accept what being a mount implies, too.

Your familiar is the one who controls you. From a role-playing perspective, this would mean you take orders from a g#+@~*ned critter. And not only that, but you follow them blindly.

I believe you can. There has been shenanigans of PCs riding PCs, and I don't think there has been any ruling on the matter. It's just a little silly, and many GMs might not allow it.
