Are all wayfinders half price in PFS?

The standard one is, but is it implicit that other, more expensive wayfinders are as well? This would certainly make sense from a theme perspective.

Only the wayfinder detailed on page 299 of the ISWG, reprinted for convenience on page 27 of the RPG Guild Guide, is always available or gets a discount.

I don't believe that any others are half price.

Basic wayfinder is the only cheap one. But it would be cool if all of the wayfinders were half price in PFS-- maybe at different tiers of fame?

Spoiler:
"The Confirmation" quest rewards include a free basic wayfinder for new players. Old players can get the free one for 1 PP, and a futher 1PP discount on vanities to upgrade that particular wayfinder.

My character's buying that very item and would much prefer to get some change to spend on a few other helpful things, but it's still not happening.

Well, you could have one half price if you used a wayfinder as an arcane bond item.

Normally not an option (arcane bond is limited to amulet, ring, staff, wand, or weapon) but you can take the Pathfinder's Focus trait from the PFS Primer to be allowed to do so.

That would actually be a really tempting option, if only I hadn't spent 12,000 gp last level on the bonded item I already have.

Until you hit a scenario where you're suppose to keep your membership in the society a secret, and you pull out a wayfinder every time you cast a spell.

Disguise check to make it look like a normal compass?

Hey, at least you won't fail any missions because no one has a wayfinder! ;)

Disguise self is more than enough to make the wayfinder look like another item.

duration is often to short... but pull out a Hat of Disguise and that should cover it (YMMV).

Wouldn't you just shrug, put away the wayfinder, and put an extra hand on your longsword instead?

Intimidating a witness won't prevent you from failing a primary or secondary success condition.

Pretty sure he meant "melee everything before they see the wayfinder" when he referenced two-handing the sword.
