For a melee summoner, would taking a few levels of Bloodrager to get things like blooded arcane strike and mad magic be considered a viable option?
I was just thinking about this idea, and while I liked the Blood God Disciple it gives up good stuff for not that good stuff. So I'm thinking maybe a few levels of Bloodrager to regular summoner can make up the difference.
What do you guys think about it? Also, would bloodline even matter in this case?
You could definitely work out some different bloodrager archetypes without many issues because you're not going to stay in bloodrager that long. I'd say 4 levels max.

Alright, let's look at this a bit closer then.
Summoner needs levels in order to improve their Eidolon and there is no way to make up for the lost advancement. It really doesn't do well with multiclassing. It is all the class featured (SM SLA, evolutions, etc) that you are looking for, so Magical Knack really doesn't make up for it.
Summoner never gets any bonus feats.
Bloodrager levels give you more rounds of blood rage. If you want use of the rage for more than one battle, either you take multiple levels of the class or spend a feat for extra rage.
You would need Mad Magic just to be able to use your main (Summoner in this case) spells.
The build would be behind in spell levels, Eidolon power, and feats. I really don't think that a few hit points and 10' movement plus the single-fight rage are worth it.
