So I am making a reach bloodrager for skulls and shackles. So far here is the build I have.
Half orc Bloodrager lvl1
20 point buy: STR: 18 DEX: 14 CON: 14 INT: 8 WIS: 9 CHA: 13
Aberrant bloodline
Traits: Fates favoured, ????
Lvl1: Power attack
Basically just as normal lvl 1 reach build I do plan on wielding a Keen Fortuitous Fauchard and picking up combat reflexes, pushing assault etc.
What I am asking is. Would it be worth it to be cross-blooded and get either fly via elemental(air) or an extra 5ft of reach via the black blooded bloodline?(Got any other combination suggestions?) Seems like a heavy price of -4 will
Also since this is Not being played in PFS you normally want to get some exotic race. I was thinking Suli maybe since they get +str/cha, but then I wouldn't be able to enlarge myself.
Thanks in advance

Lol I actually just posted a Aberrant Bloodrager build Here
What what you want/can from it. And I hope you enjoy the class. It is my 3rd Favorite class in the game. Such a strong class and very well made.

Oh man that build looks cool. I think I will be sticking with my reach tactics for now but I cant believe I missed the aberrant tumour feat, that's awesome! Maybe I will be just fine going crossblooded.
That is a reach build/Tatics lol.
Just use a reach weapon, Long arm spell, Enlarge person. I left level 7 open in the build in case someone wants stand still or Lunge or anything that peeks their interest. But that build is reach if you want it to be or can be a high critical build with a Falchion. Which the Falchion is still turned into a reach weapon with Enlarge person + Aberrent Bloodline + Long arm (if you choose to take it). It is just a regular reach weapon gets you a few more squares of reach to play with.

So what do you think is better fly or 5 feet of extra reach?
I usually just buy scrolls/potions of fly. In the build I listed he has Monstrous Physique II for a source of Abilities (Flying be one of them). Scrolls tend to be cheap expendables that get the job done. In most dungeons this guy could prolly touch the ceiling with his crazy reach.
He also takes Phantom Steed later game because the steed becomes a really good traveling mount that later gets the ability to fly all day while riding him. The scroll is more for in the dungeon answer to flight. It can also be Extended with a lesser rod and cast prior to sleeping. (so you get your spells back) it is also a great time to Load up your spell storing armor/weapons to get a few more spells a day. I like Vampiric touch in my weapon and Frostbite in my armor (Punishing them for hitting me with the fatigued condition. You could put double Vampiric touch...not like it hurts you. lol

I forgot to add you could also get a permanency stink cloud casted on an item and you can have that item tied to your belt (Or in your Haversack for safe keeping). Buy a pair of Fog Cutting Lenses and you can debuff folks as you move about with the cloud that you are immune to. This can come online by level 8 at the earliest.

What do you think of arcane/blooded arcane strike?
I use it in other builds that are more offensive. The Bloodrager I'm playing in Skulls in Shackles atm is a Primalist, SPelleater arcane bloodrager.
He uses both so at Level 13 he can take raging Brutality for his swift actions.
It could be a reach build but I chose Falchion Build for lots of criticals and ending fights faster.
At Level 12 he takes Come and get me by trading off level 12 power. For s&~&s and giggles relying on his 50% miss chance, fast healing, and other layers of defenses. He is LESS tanky than my Aberrant build but has a LOT more DPR. Carl Jr. the Arcane bloodrager (his build is list in other threats) is also built to be strong verses casters by getting in their faces and smashing them. Once he is in their face it is really hard to escape him.
