Night-night.

Yes both the Grey Goose and the Pinnacle made it through the tumble. I don't carry scotch because I hate its flavor (I know. All my MacIntyre/MacNeil/Ramsay ancestors are rolling over in their peaty graves)

Ugh. I can't wait to be done. At least until tonight :/

It is. It's a contraction of "we would."

Rolling Stone magazine did an article right away, before much of anything was known, so it was a lot of color and quotes from musicians and bystanders. Holy crap, I forgot how the "in-crowd" talked during that time. Groovy, bad vibes, cat, old man, old lady, bummed, bad trip, etc. The article reads as rather ridiculous now, despite the grim contents.

It reminds me of Nine Princes in Amber, which also contains some super-dated prose.

Groovy, man.

I still talk like this... *looks around in confusion at the modern world*. Heavy, man. Heavy.

Sad start to the day. I was just informed that my female pup Penelope that my ex took with her when she left passed away some months ago. RIP little Penelope. You were Daddy's little girl. :'(

Sorry to hear it. ;-(

I had a similar experience a few years back pups create quite the attachment!

Good morning, everyone.

I borrowed from a friend a graphics tablet...

My drawing on it are even worse than on paper...

Practice makes prefect, Drejk.

(That was intentional. I thought it might be funny. I'm not sure if it was.)

I didn't have a non solo session since first days of May.

At least solo GMing is still a thing for me.

I might get to play Pathfinder on Fridays soon. One of my former players GMs a PF campaign and might get a spot for me.

Holy cow! I unpacked an HP Photosmart C6280 that I haven't used since, oh, 2012, because I occasionally need a printer and don't have another and don't have money for one and why the heck not give it a shot?

I plugged it in to my laptop, turned it on and... f%@$er prints like a champ, except for magenta. I think a couple of new ink cartridges will have it running reeeeeal purty.

I'm astonished. It's so beautiful! It's even clean. How did it stay so clean?

Unnaturally clean, one might think...

>_>

Wow.

Ah I forgot to let my online CHums know I was going out of town this week.

Hey Guys and gals! I'm out of town this week, visiting family for the week. :)

SO, If I fail to post in the game threads, it's because my access to interwebs is spotty, and my laptop's not happy with me right now. Don't know why. :P

On the other hand, my MAIN game PC is also giving me fits. :(
I thought the keyboard broke, so I tried a couple of old ones I have lying around, they didn't work, I know I'm a packrat, so I thought maybe I kept a couple of old ones even though they had died? (I do stuff like that) SO I went to Best Buy and spent too much on a 'good' gaming keyboard (Id been waiting for an excuse to buy one,) and IT didn't work, after much cussing and phoning both Best Buy tech support and the keyboard manufacturer, I got an idea. Tried BOTH my old keyboard and the new one in the family PC. They work fine. :/

SO, Calling my PC manufacturer, I think the mother board is having issues, THEY say that the latest WINdows updates corrupted the drivers. And nothing I try has fixed it. Their suggestion was to wipe the hard drive and reinstall WIN et al.

Yeah. Looking forward to THAT about as much as spending money on a new PC again. :P

AH well, I'll deal with that nonsense when I get back.
THIS week it's sun (and rain) and grill-outs and movies and seeing family!

Happy 4th to all!

Well, had a nice relaxing day today. Slept a lot of it, but that's ok. I feel a bit more settled about my impending move. My dad said he'd float me a little get settled in cash, do I can rest easy on the rental a bit.

Still going to be a tough July. I'm not scared though. This is the next chapter of my life.

Did I mention that my new office will be right next to the Smithsonian? Those of you that follow me on FB be prepared for museum pics galore!

I am digging Mass Effect: Andromeda. I know it got ragged on (and as far as voice acting and character animation are concerned, that is well earned), but the story and gameplay are very compelling!

My Win 10 auto-conversion didn't work, so I had to create an ISO disk and boot from it to install Win 10. It was a real pain, but I'm so glad now. I have used it twice to recover from corrupted drivers and modules. If Win10 had auto-installed correctly, I would never have had the ISO disk to recover from.

I guess it's easy enough to create one with another computer. But geez, that's like an extra step and everything.

well ALRIGHT! Good to see some people enjoying the game!

Yesterday and today have been quite an adventure here at Sweet Home Calabama. The plumbing clogged up for the second time in 8 days and it took me and the landlord over 2 hours to get that fixed. Then the air conditioner goes out.

So today two a/c techs come out, spend two hours trying to find out the problem, and then decide it's an electrical issue that's out of their area of expertise. So they rigged up the a/c to where it works but it's plugged into a wall socket instead of wherever the power normally comes from. And of course with today being Monday and tomorrow being a holiday, trying to get an electrician out here would be impossible before Wednesday or Thursday.

sigh...

Very boring day at work.

Now I am going to sleep, only to get up early to be bored some more at the work and then to be bored into a tooth by a dentist...

Hello All! I have finally ventured out of the PBP corner of Paizo and decided to post around a bit. I hope all is well with ya'll. Feeling a little nostalgic for the old posting days.

Of course it's ok! But be aware of one rule new rule; political chats and posts are no longer allowed. They're too inflammatory and just create discord among the posters.

THAT's Awesome!

I've been to a couple of the Smithsonians a couple of times, they are the awesome!

I may join FB now, just to see pics of you and the museums! ;P

(I went to the air and space when they had the Star Wars exhibit. THAT was fun!) :)

So much to do. So little time.

Happy Fourth, those of you who have it off.

Back from work. Leaving for a dentist in approximately one hour.

I hope your visit goes well.

Take care of those impressive draconic teeth! A toothless dragon doesn't look so threatening.

Can you imagine what the dentist's bill for working on a Dragon might be like?

I don't need to. I have been there.
The answer is that there's no bill. The dentist does it for free.
Nobody dares to charge a bill to a dragon with aching teeth.

That's why they give you the bill afterwards, when you are a one happy and finally relaxed dragon...

Not in the U.S.

They make sure you'll be able to pay for it before even letting you in dentist's chair.

Or maybe that's just poor people.

Hi all. Just stopping in on my way to bed. Hope you all have / had a good day (dentist visits and lack of time not withstanding).

Hope everyone here in the US has a safe and fun Independence Day. In other words, don't do anything stupid with alcohol and fireworks in tandem.

*returns home mumbling unclearly*

Next visit next Tuesday.

At the moment the temporary filling covering poison that is killing my tooth, and the numbness of my upper-left part of lip are more annoying than the pain from the dying tooth.

Now I am hungry...
