Seriously tho.... I need to stop chipping in on these Kickstarters.

Urgh. So durn tired.

So today I brought the Monkeymobile up to the shop for an oil change and to have them replace my plate light ( the absolute worst light to go on a car). I figured that I would be paying $50-60 altogether and spending an hour or two.

Well, they came back and told me my brakes were about to give out. Four hours and $400 later I was on my way :/

Every time I think I'm getting ahead of the curve this kind of crap happens.

Tell me about it. :/

Went to take my son to the bus stop, dead battery. Buy a new one.

Needed 3 new tires, picked up a screw, 4 new tires. ($200 for tires, another $200 to get them actually PUT ON and everything done!) ;

It just, keeps, coming.

Decided to bite the bullet and go to my weekend stage combat workshop,
But I still actually for this years taxes. :P

At least I'm in good company! :)

Yes welcome! Please, partake of the leftover Lilith cookies and comfy beanbags.

I prefer my beans on plates, not bags, but thanks for the warm welcomes.

As many of you already know, I volunteer for Tekko, Pittsburgh's premier anime convention. Here's some videos from this year's convention.

Tekko 2017 Official Promo Note: The scene at the end of this clip was everyone returning to the convention center after a fire alarm-based evacuation during Tekko 2016.

Umm, aren't those cookies getting a little stale by now? Or does the cookie jar have a variant Gentle Repose enchantment?

Anybody else watching the new season of MST3K on Netflix? I've seen the first 3 episodes, and started the 4th, so far. I don't think I'm enjoying it as much as the old ones, but that could be because I'm remembering a few exceptional episodes (Manos, I'm looking at you) and looking at the rest through the lens of nostalgia. But it's still fun.

Lilith's cookies never go stale.

I hope that you are having a good night, PC! Get some rest when you can.

Hey CAL, Hamster, Other Monkey affecciandoes. :)

(Yeah I know, Old Wizard can't spell) ;P

Well, I survived another weekend workout at my annual stage combat workshop. Re-upped 1 certification. (Decided to take it easy this year) Not too sore. AT least, nothing that a bunch of Cider and Crawfish at the also-annual Crawfish Boil can't cure. :)

I wish each and every Treeforter a Very Happy Easter today.

Happy Easter, Rags.

HOPPY EASTER!

Happy Easter!

Barrow-worm, an undead-eating worm-dragon.

Note: it's complete coincidence that I am posting an undead-eating dragon during a holiday that involves rising from grave. I had it (mostly) finished last week, but Owen posted a quote that inspired me to write a snarl-of-yarn construct so the poor walking corpse-eater was left for today.

The first couple times I read your post, I read the description as "undead worm-eating dragon."

...

I can make one of those too!

Oh and happy Eostre!

How about an undead worm dragon construct?

Kyussamat?

A Worm-that-walks Template applied to a Dragon?

John Napier 698 wrote:

Too simple...

Though a dragon that is a swarm of worms (or other minuscule aberrations) is interesting idea.

It can't have swarm subtype though, for actual swarms occupy 10-ft. square, we want something grandiose, and only swarm-like in composition and rules...

Dragon that is composed of giant pile of living (or undead) spiders?

Oh, oh, oh! Make the dragon a mass of undead insects that lose cohesion at say 25% of total HP. Then have the insects scurry off to a safe place, kind of like a Vampire's mist form, until it "regrows" the missing HP by preying on living insects. It can only be "killed" by tracking the insects to the resting place and destroying the resting insects by fire. How's that?

Not an awful idea, but what happens if the PC's kill off all of the insects?
Why not make some sort of insecticidal phylactery, like a queen, which stays at the lair, and can regrow the Hymenwyrm (combining the order name for communal insects with the old English for dragon) as described by John Napier at say 2d10 Hp per day.
Edit: then of course, destruction of the queen should follow similar rules to phylactery.

Yes, that's good as well.

Interesting idea, but the initial version it's quite close to a dragon with nosferatu template...

Well, we are tossing ideas around, just to see what sticks. :)

I am not sure if I want to create monster by tossing things and looking what stick together...

It could be messy...

Brainstorming typically is. Come up with a rough idea, then refine it.

I referred to the actual things that might be thrown at the monster... They need to be sticky so there will be mess when they miss...

Good lord. 13.5 hours into my shift. I am soooo tired.

I uploaded 10K photos spanning the Aughts I had on my computer to Google Pictures. It's kept me sane looking through them today.

How much longer, Monkey?
