If Pazio is really wanting to make money why not use more of their maps instead of the one offs? I mean if you put at least one Flip/Map pack per scenario it would generate revenue along with the cost of the scenario itself.

They've gone into this in the past.

Apparently, using the flip-mats can turn it into a 'gotcha' method of marketing which they try to avoid.

Same token, printing the maps for the Confirmation was a real hassle, and I really wish I could have gotten a *hard copy* of the Darklands rather than trying to do it from a .pdf.

Yeah it would be nice if they would bring back some of the older oop stuff for those of us who messed up and did not start playing right away

See the line of Flip Mat: Classics.

Also, there are many more scenarios than flip maps, and when designing a scenario it's nice not to have to use the same dungeon, tavern, or warehouse. (For designers and players.)

Unfortunately does not include the Darklands map.

I got the 'Dark Forest' OOP flip mat printed full size onto vinyl (as two single sided maps)

They worked out about £7 each (I used an online printing company, after seeing lots of forum posts about x-wing players printing hires starmaps onto vinyl)

Yeah, I'm puzzled by that since it is one of the most commonly used flip mats in PFS and is a pain to draw.

having looked back on my order I paid just £10.47 for both mats (including shipping) from Pixartprinting.

That was a special offer price, but they do seem to regularly have similar offers.

go to large format / banners and mesh / pvc banners

select Extreme Classic PVC 500 gsm, with no accessories
