Prevent paralyze

Advice

Is there a Chance to prevent paralyze or getting helpless because of the condition? Maybe a spell or a potion/item?

Freedom of Movement and the Ring of Freedom of Movement

Thank you!

Does freedom of movement negate the 0 score for STR and DEX?

It removes the paralysis condition, but if you get reduced to 0 str or dex due to something like ability drain, then you are out of luck.

It does nothing to improve ability scores.

Ok thanks.

The idea is to counter the Blasphemy spell (3 lvl under caster)

I think my alchemist would LOVE to have one of those rings right about now...

It(FoM) works in this case.

Dark Archive

Pathfinder Adventure, Adventure Path, Lost Omens, Pathfinder Accessories, PF Special Edition Subscriber

Contingency Spell with Remove Paralysis or Dispel Magic ready to eliminate the condition is also good.

Stilled and silent remove paralysis?

Greater Spell Immunity or staying more than 40 ft from the caster (or keeping them away, i.e. Repulsion or similar) could also be effective.

You are paralysed if your HD is at least 5 lower than the caster level. You should be ok.

Otherwise, Silence and being Evil also work. As does SR.

High Will should reduce it to 1 round.

Liberty's Edge

Properly motivated Evil NPC who can cast Remove Paralysis should work too

Depending on the GM/campaign the descriptor "sonic" may also make Silence (and perhaps Deafness) an effective counter to some aspects of the spell. The argument for this being why mention the banishment aspect takes place regardless if the creature can hear the blasphemy or not (implying the other effects only occur if heard).
