Information on locating some items - SPOILERS

GM Discussion

Looking for some help from some of you GM's that have run many more of the scenarios than I have.

I am planning on starting a new character to make use of a specific item (intelligent shield). I will GM the scenario to make sure I get it. Was talking with some friends and we decided it would be kool to all start new characters together and each get an intelligent item. We would of course each have to GM the particular scenario to ensure the chosen PC gets it. No problem there.

However I only know of 2 of them. Gamin and the Lion. I know there is a scenario to 'fix' one of them, but I don't know which scenario. I have heard there at least 1 maybe 2 other intelligent items available in scenarios.

Can one of you let me know which scenarios we need to get/run? Feel free to just send me a PM if you don't want to post such info.

I can't speak to the scenarios you want, but a Black Blade Magus would be another route to an intelligent item.

Good idea. If there aren't enough different ones available, one of us is likely to do that rather than doubling up on one of them.

Grand Lodge 4/5

There is also the Ring of something-or-other that is (potentially) an intelligent item. The chronicle offers two ways to purchase it, plain for only gp, and intelligent, for both gp and PP, IIRC.

Scenario Info:
I don't remember the specific scenario name, off-hand, but it is almost certainly Season 2, as the plot deals with the rogue Shadow Lodge, and a certain faction head (at the time) apparently committing treason to join the Shadow Lodge. Sort of.

Anyone remember the name/number of the ring scenario?
Are those the only 3 intelligent items?

Grand Lodge 4/5

The scenario:

Spoiler:
It's from Heresy of Man Part 3. You'll want to play all three parts for the story to make sense.

And as far as I know those are the only three intelligent items available in PFS.

Also, don't forget the following bit about Intelligent Items:

Quote:
Any character whose alignment does not correspond to that of the item (except as noted by the asterisks on the table below) gains one negative level if he so much as picks up the item. Although this negative level never results in actual level loss, it remains as long as the item is in hand and cannot be overcome in any way (including by restoration spells). this negative level is cumulative with any other penalties the item might place on inappropriate wielders. items with ego scores of 20 to 29 bestow two negative levels. items with ego scores of 30 or higher bestow three negative levels.

If you have all three items on the same character you'll be taking at least 1 negative level.

Thanks for the info!

Right now, all 4 of us are planning to each have one. So one of us will probably do the Magus idea.

There seems to be one intelligent item per season or two the last few seasons, so I would not be surprised if another one shows up in the next year or two
