Is there any location where powers are identified?

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

This question may have been asked before but I still appreciate the answers.
So every character card has certain powers on them and occasionally these powers are identified as a specific ability ie
Seoni has the "fire blast" power identified on page 13 if the rulebook.
This translates to her ability "for your combat check, you may discard a card to roll your arcane die +1d6..."
Is there a way to identify other character powers? Another example that comes to mind is Harsk recharging a card to add 1d4 to a combat check at another location. In my head this is him taking a crackshot with his crossbow and hitting the target miles away. But I have no way to confirm this. Perhaps players who are more familiar with traditional Pathfinder are generally aware of the powers but is there a resource for those of us who only play the card game?

This question also reaches into other aspects of the game. For example many villains have powers that aren't explained why, beyond variation and upping the difficulty. For example Nualia deals 1d4 damage before the encounter. Why is this? I understand she's a cleric and capable of such feats but why does she gain "initiative" and attack first?

Not officially, no. Many of the terms given to character powers are just given by players, influenced greatly by those that have knowledge of the RPG.

Chad did talk at one point about the Attack trait on spells being something that sort of simulates spell resistance.

We've mentioned before that Obsidian's app version of our game sometime has different requirements than we do, and while naming powers would actually be harmful to our game (it would require more text on the cards that already have the most words, and for no good reason), it's actually helpful to theirs in some situations. So we've named every single RotR character power for them. For example, Seoni's "fire blast" power is called Arcane Blast, and if you take the feat that adds the Acid trait, it becomes Acid Blast. Harsk's power to help combat checks at other locations is called Sniper's Shot. (A few of these correspond to class features, feat names, or other mechanics from the Pathfinder RPG... but fewer than I think you might expect.)

What are the rest? You'll have to wait and see.

Mike's post about why names are not used in the card game version.

If I were playing through RotR again, I'd probably write the powers from the digital game on the character sheets; my wife has never played the RPG and I think I can compartmentalize different systems pretty well. It would add some flavor to things.

As we are now close to the end of (playthrough #2 of) S&S, I'm going to try to do the same when we start WotR. I'll probably have to come up with my own names, but if anyone else already has done this, I'd love to see it.
