So some buddies and I are plan on doing a one-shot arena style combat with level 20 Gesalt characters. All the others guys playing are considerably more experienced than I am, so I'm coming to you guys.
All official Pathfinder material is good to use, the only real rule is that you can't be a race that requires level adjustment. As stated above, this is gonna be an arena style combat event, so it needs to be able to handed multiple PC characters.

Elven Foresight Divination Wizard 20//Inspired Blade Swashbuckler 1/Kensai Magus 9/Eldritch Knight 10
You win with the Divination Wizard 20 by going first and Time Stopping.
The Inspired blade Swashbuckler/Kensai Magus 9/Eldritch Knight 10 makes you a badass in Combat with a rapier. No armor but INT to AC as well as Dex and the Crazy amount of Buffs your going to have. The High Critical (15-20) from your Rapier will allow you to proc your Spell Critical about every 3 attacks. Techinqually you can Spell Combat your Intensified Shocking Grasp, Critical both it and the weapon, Proc Spell Critical (Choose a bad-ass Wizard spell), and then Free action Release spell storing on your weapon for some Massive nova damage. You should Be killing them pretty quick or severely Hindering them and putting them on the ropes.
If your doing it Royal Rumble Style the start of all your turns should be Time Stop. You should be able to Eliminate 2 PCs or better with the Combo of AoE problems and your Melee Prowess.
A build like this Requires you to have a pretty good grasp on:
Action Economy (Arcane Strike would slow this build down due to so many swift action choices)
Spells and preparing your lists
And Good feat Choices.

Depending on how many people we are talking you should either:
1. Isolate yourself from the fight and let most of them take each other out.
or
2. Take people out with no saves if possible while readying defensive spells.
Divination Wizard should be one of your classes. You probably also want mystic theurge 10 for 1 use of Spell Synthesis to get 2 spells in 1 action. It will be important to be using as many spells and abilities as you can in the shortest amount of time possible and this is one of the few ways to get more. Consider arcanist as your other base class for immediate action counterspells.
Some of the major spells you will have to consider using and being used against you include:
Aroden's Spellbane
Mage's Disjunction
Echean's Excellent Enclosure (Arcane Archer builds can shoot this)
Time Stop
Wish
Miracle
Spell Immunity
The anti-magic field effects will be a problem so it is very important to name them with Aroden's Spellbane as well as naming Spellbane itself.
Choose a strong spell with the spell perfection feat and make sure to have a Staff of the Master so you can make liberal use of quicken spell even on 9th level spells.
If you don't think the mystic theurge route is worth it try the Arcane archer (just 2 levels) so you gain ranged Excellent Enclosure.
Abomination Psychic could also be an option because you can enter you dark half form during the fight and gain SR 40+.

First step is go first. Second step time stop. Third step use A bad touch ability like touch madness. Fourth use save or die and you win. If you have two different save or die spells that target different saves your almost guaranteed a kill even on the strongest save characters. Only a monk has max saves to all three and paladins are limited to charisma even on their bad. Trust me it works.
Divination wizard combined with a cleric should do the job very nicely. Give the save or die spell the highest DC check stat so probably intelligence.
