(As a request - if you're familiar with the Vancaskerkin family, you know they always make bad decisions that get them in deep trouble, and have no idea how to get out of them. Similarly, Nikolai owes "Uncle Guaril" big, and always has little things he needs done when Nikolai heads out on missions. I know the faction missions don't mean anything any longer, but they were awesome, so if you could send me the mission the Sczarni should have had, that'd be great! I think they get Taldor missions from early scenarios.)

This fool, this idiot who is perpetrating these kidnappings, must be stopped and he must be stopped publicly. When you find him, ensure that he is left alive, bound and gagged, and deposited on the steps of the constabulary in Old Cassomir. His public hanging at Pharasma’s Pulpit will benefit the citizens of Taldor greatly. We’ve also heard that the Governor’s own nephew, one Orfeo Bozbeyli, was taken from that relics auction several nights ago. If you find him, drag him to the water’s edge, whisper into his young ears that his uncle the governor did not appreciate the interruptions at that feast a fortnight ago, and then toss his ungrateful ass into the harbor. We don’t want to harm him—we just want to humiliate him.

Regarding the situation, I usually cap games at 6, but technically a table may have 7 players. Given that this is a 4 part series, I think it is likely someone may drop before we reach the end. Also, I don't know about this sub-tier, but I know the 4-5 tier is kicking my butt (I am playing part four now, and may have just lost my first character!), so I am inclined to think more is better here. Also, I hate to invite someone and then turn them away.
So unless someone has a strong objection, my thinking is that we proceed with 7.
A couple of additional rules I will add to keep the pace up.
- If you attempt diplomacy without a roll to go with it, I will roll for you. I will add aid adjustments based on what the rest of the group appears to be doing (are they helping or just watching). The rules for changing NPC attitudes are pretty clear, so that's what I follow unless extreme circumstances alter it (or if the scenario says "fight til dead"), so if you are trying to convince someone and want to roll your own, do it in the post.
- When making decisions, once I get 2 or 3 agreeing to a course, we will move forward with that.
- Please post everyday (or at least 5 of 7) even if you don't have a lot of useful to add, just so we still know you are playing along.
- At the end of each week, we will vote out one member to be sent home... oh, wait - that's some other game. Just checking to see if you are still reading...

Technically, you can play either 1st or 4th level here, but with 7 and the other six all being 1st, I would recommend 1st for you as well. I haven't ever seen it, but is there a gunslinger pre-gen? Could always use it and change the name and some flavor text to pretend to be the other character...
Anyway, just jump in with whoever you choose, and we will get going.

Yah, I don't know where your icon was, so I added it where you said. Not sure how you got there, but going to gloss over that for now, as you need any advantage you can get, I think.
Sorry, Davith - I tried to find a way, but nothing short of divine intervention was going to help there. As it is, I pretty much cheesed to try to avoid a TPK, which I was afraid was an unavoidable conclusion.
Actually, killing the zombie was a tough call. Had Alaneo not destroyed it, the cleric would have channeled to heal it instead. But in the long run, I think that would have been a worse result for only a 1 round reprieve, and it doesn't appear that anyone could have saved you.
You do have 1 small chance - if Khismia and Nikolai are able to kill her before the channel goes off due to the AoOs, then this last hit will not have happened. I don't think it is likely, but let's see if they can come up with something.
