I'm contemplating doing this same combination with my Swashbuckler as well.
I believe they work together. Neither has restrictive language regarding a maximum reach and there are no general rules on the matter, either.
It does "seem" a little silly, so you might encounter some side eye from your GM. You could even add the spell Long Arm to the list, giving your medium-sized character a 20ft reach.

Excellent. I *will* get the side-eye from my GM, which is why I asked. Paizo messageboard conventional wisdom doesn't always sway him, but it helps.
I like to envision the Swashbuckler doing something like Blade* did (first movie, first fight scene): draws sword, then makes a semicircle in front of him as if to say: "This is my dance space".
Assuming a Dex-build Swash, it wouldn't be unrealistic to have 7 or 8 AoO's by Level 5. It'd be nice to have another outlet (besides parry/riposte) to use them. Having this extended Reach would help here.
Thanks for your replies.
*Recognizes Blade is not a Swashbuckler; just painting an image.

Beware: Lunge doesn't do much for your AoOs.
"]Lunge (Combat)
You can strike foes that would normally be out of reach.
Prerequisites: Base attack bonus +6.
Benefit: You can increase the reach of your melee attacks by 5 feet until the end of your turn by taking a –2 penalty to your AC until your next turn. You must decide to use this ability before any attacks are made.

In the construction costs for blue scarf, it includes Lunge. Wouldn't this be similar to trying to use keen and improved critical?
But the reason keen and improved critical don't stack is specifically because they are called out as not stacking.
Construction prereqs don't have any secondary effects beyond the crafting itself.

These garish tokens usually take the form of a colorful clothing accessories. So long as a token is grasped in the user’s off hand, she can spend 1 panache point to gain the use of a specific ability associated with the token.
Once per day, the bearer can use the token to gain the full benefit of the token without spending panache. Non-swashbucklers can use the tokens, but unless they have another way of gaining panache, they can use the ability only once per day. A character can benefit from only one token at a time; holding a second token provides no additional benefit. There are four types of tokens, each offering a different benefit.
•Blue Scarf: The user can spend 1 panache point as a swift action to increase her melee reach with light or one-handed piercing weapons by 5 feet for 1 minute.
I'd say they do stack because same feats don't stack unless stated otherwise. This item isn't giving you the lunge feat. Even though the construction requirement includes Lunge as a preq. I'd look at the
Source Melee Tactics Toolbox pg. 29
Aura faint divination; CL 5th
Slot chest; Price 10,000 gp; Weight —
Description
This stylish silk shirt has a loose and flowing fit except for the sleeves, which cling snugly to the wearer’s arms from elbow to wrist. The sleeves guide the wearer’s attacks to take advantage of brief gaps in a foe’s defenses. Five times per day, the wearer can make a lunging melee maneuver and extend his reach by 5 feet for a single melee attack. If the wearer has the Lunge feat, he can instead use that feat five times per day without taking the normal –2 penalty.
Construction
Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, Lunge, cat's grace; Cost 5,000 gp
Even though it costs more, takes up a slot, it's actually giving you the benefits of the feat AND states what happens if you've already got said feat. I'd also invest in this so you don't take the -2 to AC. But if your 15 feet away, may not make a difference. Since you'll have reach, you'll threaten 10 feet.

It stacks. "increase reach by 5 ft" is not a bonus. There is not the "bonus" keyword to be found anywhere.
The stacking rules only apply to bonuses.
This is not a bonus. There are not stacking restrictions unless explicitly noted.
Also note: even if it was a bonus, this would still stack because it's untyped
