Increasing a weapon's size.

Rules Questions

When you increase a weapons size/damage die increment, is there ever a size that will grant reach when the normal size of a weapon does not?

Common sense, yes...I know, would figure that a 2 handed weapon made large, huge, etc, would have a longer reach. But it's that covered anywhere?

No it never changes it's reach. A small sword and gargantuan sword on the same character work the same with reach

Scarab Sages

No. Weapon size increases do not increase reach. You need to actually increase in size or be under a longarm type effect to gain reach.

Reach is based on the character size, not the weapon size.

Hilariously this also means that a Human can wield a tiny-sized polearm as a light weapon (at -4 to-hit, of course) and still have reach.
