Building a paladin

Advice

So I'm making a paladin and I need your help. My stats are 18,17,17,16,14,14 and I want to play a character that's is fun but can also be a decent front line fighter.

With those stats you could make a melee Sorcerer and still feel overpowered.

Yeah, seriously.

Str 17, Dex 17, Con 16, Int 14, Wis 14, Cha 18. Ask your GM what 'flavor' of paladin will do well in the campaign, then go forth and wallop.

Liberty's Edge

With stats like that, you could do an awesome TWF or Sword and Board TWF. For, let's say, a standard 20 point build, it would usually be pretty tough have the STR, DEX, and CHA you'd want; but you have that with no real weak stats. Remember, smite evil would apply to all your attacks...

I'd say more information is needed. What is "fun" to you? Do you like take the hits? Sacred Shield is fun. Do you want to dish it out? Well straight pally has that all built in. What god are you aiming for? Like the others have said, with those stats the sky is the limit!

Yeah.. How my dm does stats is that we roll 4D6 and add up the highest three(don't actually know if that is the normal way to do it when not doing a point by) and I rolled REALLY good..

And thanks to the people that have answered
