I can't seem to find much on Kineticist or atleast the information im searching for. Plenty of stuff arguing mechanics though. uhg. >.>
I'm wanting to go pure fire for a Roy Mustang inspired character but I have 0 experience with the kineticist. So I'd like to know What an optimized fire Kineticist's character sheet looks like. I made a character and played about a 4 hour session with him and it was a blast. Heres what ive got so far:

I hear kineticist fall behind later on in the game but i cant pass up the chance to be my favorite flame alchemist. ^_^ Thank you for any advice given ahead of time.

Totally understandable, and while I'd normally just say look at my guide, let me look over this and see what you've got. Also Mustang is awesome, great character inspiration.
It really seems like you've got the basics down, both infusions are good calls and your utility wild talent is helping to work towards your bottom line.
Looking at the sheet, it seems you're really specializing, I'd consider dropping the 20 con to an 18 if it's a point buy, putting dex to a 16, and pumping wis if you can since a bad will save can be brutal.
Are you looking for advice on where to take this? My guide does have a preferred feat/wild talent listing for a fire based character if you think that would help.

One thing I did notice, you can only put a max of ranks into a skill equal to your current level. Perception, sleight of hand, and stealth can only be max rank of 3 right now.
As far as what you've got so far, it looks pretty good. I'd probably get weapon focus (kinetic blast) next or toughness for either +1 to hit or more HP.

@N. Jolly - I actually did check out your guide. It helped me out a bit. I was going to do the 18 con 16 dex at character creation but next level i get an additional stat point anyways. So I could just put that into dex and bring it up that way. Anyways, yea... I would like some guidance on what to do with him. I'm looking at the fire build in your guide atm.
I noticed in 3rd party archetypes the Elemental Scion. Does that remedy some of the downsides to going pure energy blast?
@Texas Snyper - Whoops... heh yea. I fudged the skills it looks like.

I think the fire build is pretty nice myself, pure fire is a really fun build.
And yeah, Elemental Scion will help out, as will the Nullifying Infusion (16th level and you can scorch a red dragon!), as will the Penetrating Burn utility wild talent (to help you ignore even MORE fire resistance.)
With the damage die increase from Elemental Scion, even with energy resistance, you should still be punching a pretty big hole in anything that resist you, and an even bigger one one in non resistant elements. I'd recommend Elemental Scion to anyone going monoelemental.

Sorry for the necro, but I can't seem to find Elemental Scion anywhere. What and where is it?

Since I used to have someone following me around complaining when I talked about it, I'll answer in a spoiler.

You called?!
Not following, just intrigued with Kineticists and look around in such threads. The fact you promote your material in a Paizo forum...that is on you, dude.
