Combat Maneuvers and Weapons

Rules Questions

According to this FAQ---

Tripping and Weapons

---is it saying that I can...trip a foe with a +5 dagger and gain the +5 to the CMB as well? Sounds ridiculous to me, the original SKR ruling made so much more sense.

Does this also mean I can use a +5 longsword to enhance my Overrun CMB? Or my +5 Shield Spikes to enhance my Bull Rush CMB?

It's different for different maneuvers. With some maneuvers, the weapon is part of the attack; with some, it is differential.

With Tripping and Disarming, yes.

With Overrunning, I don't think so.

With your Shield, yes, if you are Bull Rushing as part of a Shield Slam.

Grappling, too: your Amulet of Mighty Fists won't modify your CMB unless it is clear you are Grappling with one of your natural attacks, such as with your Free Action when attacking with a Tentacle or White Hair.
