All armed? Not really.

As to the gelatinous cube, several races are immune to paralysis.

Besides the Duergar, which ones are that?

Ascetic Style is just the nail in the coffin though. Unarmed had a few minor things going for it, like larger damage dice (gone), Style Strikes could only be used with it (gone), Stunning Fist(gone...though to be fair Ki Focusing did away with it a long time ago), and so on.

But Ascetic Style just kinda destroys all that.

This may be a dumb question, and if so, I apologize, but is there something that grants the Monks unarmed damage increase to manufactured weapons now?

Go here and click on the Ascetic Style feats.

style feats.

Exactly.

The Temple Sword is an odd case: it has the monk feature, but it's not part of the Monk weapon group. Pretty sure that's an errata there.

Duergar, Android, Wyrwood and Wyvaran off the top of my head.

EDIT: I see Android is a +4 save instead of immune (and could bump that +2 with trait). So still three.

Ah, revieweing the cube, it is not what it used to be in the past... In the past a hit entitled the cube to engulf the weapon used to hit it... Now it is just a mobile annoyance.

Welp sorry for hopping in randomly but... Actually it's good to know that there are ways to get unarmed scaling with weapons. I was nervous about the opposite effect (wanting to make a Samurai Jack style monk with a sword-saint sword but there being literally no reason to have a monk use a weapon because they get 2d8 on unarmed strikes)

One thing to keep in mind when trying to create a character based on a movie or book is that you will probably not be able to get everything the fictional character does. The only limit to the fictional character is the imagination of the writer. In a game there are lot more restrictions for things like game balance, and playability. Using the fictional character for inspiration is fine, but do not expect that you will be able to do everything the fictional character can. You may need to change some details like the specific weapon they use, or even not getting one of the abilities the character has.

Well I mean.. I use Samurai Jack as the example because it's the best example I can think of as an Unarmored Swordsman.
