im debating on the magus side if i want to go oracle or shaman. if i go
shaman do i look at spirits as mysteries like the oracle and the abilities like revelations or are they completely different as to the effect of how many i can take since oracle you only get 1 mystery is that the same for the shamans spirit.
say i wanted to go spirit of heaven and spirit of lore could i do that if i took the unsworn archetype or am i stuck with just one like the mysteries ?

Shamans are a tough class to understand with just one read through. With that said, Shamans get a spirit and a wandering spirit. You are stuck with your spirit spells, spirit abilities, and spirit hexes you select. However, you can choose a new wandering spirit daily and, thus, get access to new wandering spirit spells, wandering spirit abilities, and wandering spirit hexes daily.

Spirits are kind of like Mysteries, yes. But the Wandering Spirit ability you get at 2nd level lets you choose a secondary spirit that you can change each day. You get one Hex (that you can also change each day) from this Wandering Spirit at 6th and 14th level.
Taking Heavens as your main spirit, and then using Lore as your Wandering Spirit each day is a fine build. At 6th, you can take Arcane Enlightenment as your Wandering Hex from the Lore spirit, and choose a bunch of Sorc/Wizard spells each day.
Unsworn Shaman basically lets you choose your primary and secondary spirit each day, and take more Witch hexes if you'd like. It's a lot of flexibility each day, but you end up with fewer hexes overall.
