Aasimar Scion of Humanity for other humanoids

Advice

Liberty's Edge

So in several of the books, they point out that Aasimar don't have to be born to human parents, other humanoid races can have aasimar children as well.

I was thinking of tweaking the "Scion of Humanity" alternate racial trait to allow players to plug in other appropriate races, but otherwise leaving the trait as written. Am I overlooking any negative consequences of doing this?

Not that I've thought of yet. I'd allow it.

However, I'm interested to know if anyone else has come up with issues.

Probably counting as Human already is the strongest option because of Racial Heritage, so you wouldn't break anything by making equivalent traits in order to count as other races

Nope, you're good to go. nothing really breaks by having some feats and FCB with different stats.
