Is the vehicle (wagon/ship/floating sky castle) the caster is riding on a valid target of the spell making the entire vehicle glow?
Spell
This spell causes a touched object to glow like a torch, shedding normal light in a 20-foot radius from the point touched, and increasing the light level for an additional 20 feet by one step, up to normal light (darkness becomes dim light, and dim light becomes normal light).
Under Vehicles in UC
Unlike other objects, vehicles do not take half damage from energy attacks, but do take half damage from all ranged weapons except siege weapons.

As the spell says, only 20' the point touched would be normal light and 20 feet beyond that up by 1 step.
This is true even if you touch something much smaller. If you touch the tip of your sword, the tip is glowing. For small objects, this is pretty much the same as if the entire object glowed, but for something large only part of the object touched may be illuminated.

So, now you just need a really big touchy hand.
