Question about Bloodragers and multiclassing.

Rules Questions

The way their bloodline powers are worded does it mean even if I multiclass I get the bloodline powers IE ;

Abnormal Reach (Su)

At 4th level, your limbs elongate; your reach increases by 5 feet.

Or do I need to stay in the bloodrager class?

Generally, any reference to levels within a class description should be assumed to mean levels in that class.

The terms "character level" or sometimes "hit dice" are used to refer to total class levels, but class features rarely depend on either.

FYI, questions like this should be in the rules forum.

yes you need to be 4th level bloodrager. You could do bloodrager for 2 levels something else for 3 and two more bloodrager to get bloodrager four. So you'd be character level 7, but you'd be getting that 4th level bloodrager bonus.

Scarab Sages

You need four levels of the bloodrager class to unlock the ability, not four character levels.

Usually, unless specified other as "character level" or "hit dice", level means class level.

So you get long arms at 4th bloodrager level, not total character level.
