An Ecclesitheurge of a deity with the Fire Domain "has the ability" to cast Fireball, even if they never actually pick Fire.
It says "that have the ability to cast..." if not chisen you cant cast it...

What I mean is that an Ecclesitheurge has access to all of their deity's domain spell lists due to Domain Mastery, and therefore has the ability to cast any domain spell of any of their deity's domains. Whether they choose to use Domain Mastery to pick up the Fire Domain spell list on a given day doesn't matter for Prepared Spell any more than whether or not they actually prepared that spell; the point is that they could pick up the Fire Domain spell list and prepare the spell if they wanted to, and so they "have the ability" to cast it.

Shadow Lodge

Looks legit to me.

Note two things:

1). You can prepare domain spells from your primary domain in your nn-domain slots. Fire as a primary is pretty good if you want to blast away.

2) You can sub out your domain spell list from your secondary domain for a tertiary while maintaining your secondary domain's powers.
Know what has a great set of powers but a craptastic spell list?
The Healing Domain.

I wonder who could have the Fire and Healing Domains?
(It's Sarenrae)

If youre not playing PFS just go 'Cleric of a Phiiosophy'..

Ash main, Feather abilities, Trickery spells

Lol cleric of philosophy. Nice.

Originally I was planning on going fire primary heroism secondary but id miss the big heals. So then it became blaster vs melee, and given my party, we need an off-tank. Thus thelevel of monk and crane style was considered, with heroism as primary.

What about other melee feats? Or quick and extra channel?

You could always spend a feat on Crusader's Flurry to "upgrade" to using a scimitar instead of a temple sword - I say "upgrade" because the difference is very small. Still, it's always nice to roll more crits, and scimitar flurry is pretty stylish.

Extra Channel would make using a potent Grayflame weapon more practical.

I wouldnt get access to Crusader's Flurry if I had Extra Channel, as I need Weapon Focus (which I could take, as I'd dodged it for Selective Channel) But it could be worth it... depends on what happens with another player who may or may not be joining us, and what class she plays.

Monk 1/Ecclesitheurge 9

Primary Heroism
Secondary Healing
FIRE third (may switch to fire primary heroism secondary if we get a new dedicated healer)

Str 18
Dex 14
Con 14
Int 10
Wis 22
Cha 14

AC = 28 (31 FD, 35 CW)

H Selective Channel
1 Combat casting
M dodge
M improved unarmed strike
3 Crane style
5 power attack
7 Spell Penetration
9 Crane Wing

+1 holy temple sword

Good track so far? 25pt buy. This is including a headband for Wis and belt forstrength

Though perhaps I'll give up Selective Channel for Weapon focus... might be worth it-unless I do switch to a scimitar if I were to take Crusader's Flurry...

Or Channel Smite so I can get Guided Hand later. Would that be worth it for the +2?

Selective channel is very useful. There will likely be times you want to use it in combat, and being able to do so without healing the enemy is great. With quicken channel you can still cast a spell or make an attack.

Less useful if you fight a lot of undead and just channel to harm, or have Channel Smite or some other alternate use for channels.

Maybe sarenrae has some interesting variant channels? I don't know off hand.

Well we will likely have a dedicated healer in the group once I give up the role, which is why I wasnt overly concerned about channeling and whatnot.

would i be better off with more Str or Wisdom?
