This might be the most obvious question asked in regards of kineticists past, present, and future - but I can't wrap my head around it, and humbly request aid.
Now, I understand that Weapon Focus: Kinetic Blast would add to the attack rolls done with kinetic blades, given that the weapon conjured is effectively the kinetic blast. However, since a telekineticist adds the damage that his kinetic blast does to whatever object he is wielding, what effects would modify his attack rolls? If he is wielding a dagger, would then effects such as Weapon Focus: Dagger also apply?

She doesn't add her kinetic blast damage to the object's (just kinetic blast), and Weapon Focus (something else) doesn't apply.

The real question is, what do You wield as Telekineticist Kinetic blader? I have several ideas from playing cards, to little umbrellas for cocktails to a single rose. The problem is keeping them on hand if doing your blast damage to the object when you hit with it. Hmm I wonder what you do on full attack with 2 iteratives, do you need quickdraw "junk" to replace the item you just destroyed?

Huh, that's funny. It never occurred to me that the object would take damage during a kinetic blade...
that could be problematic.
To answer your question about what to wield, I like the idea of using an actual weapon simply because you then still threaten when the kinetic blade isn't in effect (sure, not with the same damage, but still). I made a pyrokineticist who uses a spiked gauntlet (and has kinetic blade & whip) because I liked the idea of his kinetic blade taking the form of a flaming spiked gauntlet, then flying out and hitting people at reach, but still having the option to perform AoOs when not using his kinetic whip :)
I don't even have kinetic blade but I've got a cestus so that I can take my AoO when provoked. Otherwise I'm unarmed so I can gather power. It's basically brass knuckles but in a leather glove form. With a kinetic blade/whip I would see that as essentially a falcon punch.

There's no limit on how small of an item you can use. Just use a grain of sand or a molecule of the air.

Couldn't you just use ammo? That is usually a free action to draw, so bringing up an arrow/crossbow bolt/sling bullet/actual bullet doesn't seem like a problem. And it is inexpensive enough that you don't really need to worry about it (you are spending less than an actual archer, since you tend to do one big blast)
Makes a kinetic blade a bit awkward...but I always thought that power was kinda awkward for anything other than energy blasts (fire sword- cool enoug; stone sword...eh; anythign telekinetic- ....only slightly glowy version of normal sword use?)
