Alright so looking on the unofficial SRD I noticed a footnote that said
Lead Pathfinder designer Jason Bulmahn states that Drow Noble characters should be one level less than characters of standard races but this information was rolled into the CR of the creature, rather than being separate as it should have been. While messageboard posts are not considered official errata, GMs are encouraged to consider this when trying to determine how powerful Drow Noble characters might be.
So is that a official FAQ or something? Was there ever an Errata that officially says this?

I don't believe there ever was an official errata. If there was, D20PFSRD would just list the errata'd rules rather than having a footnote. There are a lot of monsters in the bestiaries that have oversights like these, and if it doesn't impact player characters directly Paizo generally doesn't errata it.

Alright so officially then the Drow Noble has as much CR as it has class levels. Good to know. I was wondering because I have been in a party with one and it was strong but wasn't played up to its fullest and I was wondering if it was legit.
Might have to make a character with the drow noble because it is a boss level character.

Drow Noble isn't that much stronger than a regular Drow. The only outstanding part of Drow Nobles is that spell resistance; everything else is really nice, but not even close to being worth a whole class level. So do be careful, it is quite easy to create something that is too weak for its CR with Drow Nobles.

Don't forget the extra set of SLA's... they aren't trivial, especially if you play a class that doesn't normally have magic of it's own.

Put drow noble on a cavern sniper and you have a drow who can shoot out areas of darkness from a good range. This makes a 1 level dip in fighter for that alone. Drop a vale of darkness over the baddies then rush in using darkvision to wipe them out.
*cough* There is a catch... Drow noble has deeper darkness, not regular one... If the initial light level was dim light or darkness, it creates supernatural darkness that blocks darkvision.
