Handling an odd mix...

Advice

Over the last 3 years, a gaming group(7 of us) decided to create a game where WE were sucked into Golorian via reasons...

It allowed what we called "Perspective Meta-Gaming", and for a time, it was good.
Well over the game, we reached level 15. Most of us had a template or two. The power was rediculas. We shifted DMs per session, we had an over arching plot but left the details vague so each DM could add their own style and so on.

Anywho, we took a 6 month break.
recently, I recovered 4/7 of the original cast to continue the game after a night of nostalgia. Laughter was had.

We noted that many books have come to our attention since three years back. So We agreed to rebuild the original "us" characters with new classes and refined abilities.

Then I was like: "Hey, what about mythic?"

And they were like: "Yes."

So now, we added mythic. My advise seeking inquiry is how does one prepare Mythic games for a group of personages with +4 CL templates? Vampirism, half-dragon, Holy, some others I cant think of off the top of my head.

All of us rather mature and can handle the power, sure. But Mythic is supposed to add a challenge. What happens when that challenge isn't challenging enough with the power each of us possesses? GUIDE ME!

A group of 4 CR 15-16 characters with mythic 1.

Well, remember to add the templates in when figuring out CR. A party of four PCs with+4 CR templates brings them up to CR 19, and means more challenging encounters anyway. Start using larger groups of "weaker" creatures, and really play up the mythic angle by having creatures with mythic templates such as Agile or Invulnerable.

Mythic adds in all manner of terrifying things, both for PCs, but also for monsters. Like Dual Initiative which lets monsters go twice a round. Also mythic enervation will fell most anything but your vampire with it's 1d6 negative levels and additional sickened effect.

Course, this matters little if your PCs are killing everything in 1 round, or even before the enemy can go, so you'll need to adapt to counter what your PCs are using to win.

I've reworked an encounter to have a variety of "weaker" Creatures running around an environment that is hampered by weather/magical affects. I've given the creatures objectives, such go grab peasant X and take peasant X to location Y.

Im trying to create a multi-objective system to where each player will be divided, thus reducing their group strength. Hopefully, anyway.

Ill check into some Mythic templates and abilities to see if i can make the critters a bit more Mythic filled.

Thanks, gents.
