Afro thunder hexing punches build?

Advice

Hey guys i was thinking of playing a boxer yall remember afro thunder!!
well I was thinking of making him in game. i love the HEXCRAFTER MAGUS witch build! but would it be WAY TOO MUCH to see if i could slide in 2 levels of monk (unchained). so i could also punch. i know i can fight from a far but i love to be in the middle of the fight.

A.) Are you sure you don't want to grab a cestus instead? Punching, not effect on spell casting, only a damade dice step down from unarmed but you get much better crit range...

2.) Can you mix flurry and spell combat? Or is this just to give you options when you don't want to spend spells

Gold.) I think I prefer the term "Cursed Fist". Much snazzier- Afro Thunder of the Cursed Fist.

I would go brawler instead of monk mainly so you can flurry in armor. Also martial flexibility can come in handy.

The Exchange

The problem is a strict RAW reading of hex strike requires the hex class feature, which a hexcrafter does not get. If you clear it with your GM you're ok to take hex strike, then go ahead.

Too bad both esoteric (Occult Adventures) and hexcrafter both replace Spell Recall, so you cant combine the two archetypes.

By RAW, no. Flurry of Blows and Spell Combat are both their own full attack actions, not simply extras added to a normal full attack.

Hasn't it been clarified in an FAQ or errata or similar that things like a hexcrafter's hexes count as possessing "the hex class feature" for all effects? My group has always been playing it like that, but we've never assumed it was merely RAI.

Yes great idea man. "Afro Thunder of the Cursed fist" sounds amazing! So the Cetus is better? What if I used natural attacks?

I'm trying to stray away from weapons but that crit range is looking sexy. And I can store spells in the Cetus as well so I think I can put two curses or "ILL Effects" on a person with one hit I think. But I think 2 Cetus with spell storing might be a good idea.

The initial damage of the punch dosent matter it's the effects that are behind it. I'll-omen, rimed-frost bite. And a little damage but now he can't move. And I slowly beat them into submission. Or not with a fireball or something.

I was also thinking brawler is the better choice and martial flexibility lets me get any punching feat I want when I need it. So any more ideas out their.
