Drow Rogue Giantslayer Adventure path

Advice

I am running a Drow rogue in the giantslayer adventure, i took the trait that makes me a member of t he town so i don't have to worry about the town members wanting to kill me on sight, i also get a masterwork dagger as well with the trait.

My question is, i know that Drow as most of the time universally hated by most other races, so i was thinking about building my rogue to be more disguise orientated, but i don't see a lot of feats that would help me with that skill besides skill focus. I am looking for advice on what rogue/ninja talents i could take as well as what feats i should be looking into.

My stats are as follows Strength 12, Dexterity 16, Constitution 12, Intellect 14, wisdom 11, Charisma 16, this is all after racial stats, and i took the Surface Infiltrator racial trait, i give up darkvision and light blindness, for low light., my first feat was agile maneuvers. we are only level 1 but i am not sure where to go with my concept when i cant find a lot in the class or feats to help me with my concept of someone who because of the hate that other races have towards Drow he will be using disguise a lot to try and blend in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have to do this in conjunction with your GM - and ask this question:

Do you see this AP happening before or after the events of Second Darkness (SD for short)? Is the Second Darkness AP even on his radar?

Because - pre-SD, no one would really know about the Drow, except for a select group of elves. Which would mean that you'd just be another elf, albeit with dark skin (maybe you are an elf from the far southern continent/jungle the others might think).

Post-SD - perhaps Drow are going to be a bit more common knowledge, and not exactly liked.

Then there is the "Drow are universally hated" without actual reference to the SD adventure path, though this is often just a hold over from other settings (Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, etc).

Of course, I'd say that keeping yourself under some sort of disguise might just be prudent - regardless of how the above questions might be answered.

This will be run post Second Darkness and he made it perfectly clear Drow are hate but because i was raised in this town i am not hated but tolerated by the people there.

Also if this helps i am CG alignment.

The disguise skill on it's own may suffice until you can afford a Hat of Disguise. Does it have to be a "disguise?" Could you get away with something like THIS? No disguise necessary, and with only your eyes showing, you could just be a dark skinned human from another culture, perhaps a merchant...

Or you could roll with something like THIS and be the super secretive type.

I am looking for more then just the skill and magic items, i am wondering if there are feats and or prestige classes or archetypes i could take for disguise options.

Come on guys I am not the best in following out my character concept, so i like to plan out where i am going what my character.

Oh by the way this is the unchained rogue

You could check out the Master Spy PrC. It seems to have a lot of things that might work for you. Also, if you read the Unchained Rogue talents you have Quick Disguise and Master of Disguise. Add that to Multitalented, Greater Multitalented, and Skill Mastery. Plus you can use the Disguise Skill Unlock.

Since your Charisma is so high you could look into the Eldritch Heritage feat chain (Eldritch Heritage, Improved Eldritch Heritage, and Greater Eldritch Heritage) to gain the special abilities of the Rakshasa Sorcerer Bloodline. It has some very nice base abilities, and the 15th level ability is Alter Self at will.

And there is a D&D 3.5 feat: Master of Disguise.

This information will be a great help, i am not sure if i will go master spy or just take hte eldritch heritage feats though, in order to get the rakshasa bloodline powers i would want it would take 5 feats, but i know i could always use my rogue talents as combat feats.

Speaking of rogue talents, i know i can use my rogue talents to get ninja tricks, but can i use them to get some of the slayer options, it doesn't say 1 way or the other, i was always under the impression that because slayer is a hybrid of rogue/ranger i could take slayer talents.

You can't take Slayer talents in place of Rogue talents. Unless your GM decides to house-rule that you can.

You could also take the Spy or Swashbuckler Archetypes...

The Spy would obviously fit your character background more, however it would be very redundant. The Swashbuckler is not really in line with disguising so much, but it does give you access to a Martial Weapon and two uses of the Combat Trick Rogue talent. You could be a well trained swordsman and a master of disguise (Drow Zorro).
