Warpriest Blessing

Rules Questions

I realized, while reading the destruction blessing, that it grants a bonus which depends on your level. It says:

"For 1 minute the ally gains a morale bonus on weapon damage rolls equal to half your level (minimum 1)"

Is this your character level or your warpriest level? I found this weird as the Destruction domain grants this instead:

"You gain the ... ability to make a single melee attack with a morale bonus on damage rolls equal to 1/2 your cleric level (minimum 1)..."

I feel like Destruction domain 1st level power is less powerful than the blessing. Is this on porpose? Perhaps to make up the fact that Blessings do not get spells?

There are some other blessing that states the same thing. And after reading them all, it appears that almost none of them depends on level, and those who does dont say warpriest level.

Am I missing something?

Unless an ability specifically says "character level", your level means your class level.

It's actually explained in the general introduction to Blessings.

Warpriest Blessings
Description Source: Advanced Class Guide
A warpriest can select any two blessings granted by his deity. Deities grant blessings of the same name as the domains they grant. Unless otherwise noted, using a blessing is a standard action. A warpriest without a deity can select any two blessings (subject to GM approval). If a blessing’s power duplicates a spell effect, the warpriest’s caster level for that power is equal to his warpriest level.

Blessings that affect weapons and armor benefit anyone who wields or wears those items, not just the warpriest.

Yes. Every rule is wrriten with the concept that no character is multi classed.

So for everything, if it says "your level" it is always referring to your level in the class.

If they intend it to work off character level, they use those words.

This makes sense. Thanks everyone for your response
