"shrink item" like effect on constructs?

Advice

I've been scouring trying to find something to fit this description. My PC uses constructs. It isn't plausible to have huge constructs, or even multiple regular constructs walking around with me all the time. I'm looking for a way to get them into combat if i need them, without them being out in the open at all times.

I was thinking either shrink item, or call construct.

RAW on shrink item, is it cant be used on "magical items." Well, as far as i can tell, constructs are created with magic, but they themselves are not magical. On top of that, i don't even know if they would be considered objects at that point, even though my main construct template i play with is the "Animated Object" construct variation. To avoid bugging my GM before i have some answers I'm trying to find a solution.

Second option is call construct. Which has a 10 minute casting time. It does what i want, but not how i want. 10 minutes isn't acceptable.

Thoughts?

Well, Constructs are not Items, anyway. Not unless they're Animated Objects, that is. AOs are... weird like that.

But for a normal Golem, you're... kinda... yeah, you're not really getting anything with that.

Shrink Person doesn't work because it's not a Humanoid.

If they're small enough, you can always just shove 'em into a Bag of Holding, though.

Think With Portals...

ok, maybe a different angle then.

how about bags or chests? Bag of holding has alot of space and is really cheap. I would be able to carry it around, and empty it if needed

There are quite a few constructs that start small? (or are Swarms)

Bronze Sentinel

Cobras are all small

List of Tiny Constructs

i.e.:
Clockwork Spy
or
Rune Guardians are quite CL intensive

... or all the gain/hassle you get with a Homunculus...

PLus there's the "Evil Chucky Doll"TM stereotype, if you're into that kind of thing... (there are more than this and usually involve killing someone first)
Guardian Doll

small/tiny constructs are great don't get me wrong. i use multiple homunculus, but i'm talking big, clunky, awkward in normal situations looking constructs. My PC doesnt do a whole lot in combat, and relies on constructs to be relevant(which is how i built the PC, its on purpose).

side not, i've been looking at bag of holding rules. Theres quite a few stories of people putting people in the bags, or big objects and such. Since its worded as a bag that leads to a non-dimensional space, cant i just put a construct that will fit in said space and not break the weight scale? If so, this solves everything

what level/class is your PC?

mainly because the opening of a bag of holding is going to be the main limitation: you may be able to shove 10,000 small objects in easily, but one large object might not get past the cloth opening? Original D&D best type bags had a "you can stuff an object that is 10'x5'x3' in, but then it counts as 600lbs..." (found that on another thread here) but apart from saying nowadays "it's a 2'x4' sack" (which implies flat, so 2x2 sides of sack = 4'circumference to get that large construct through...)

ok that segued a bit: what I was going to ask was could you get either Magnificent Mansion spell, or a demiplane, OR Harrowed Eldritch Feats?
Harrow Bloodline

The 3rd feat for Harrow Eldritch would get you a permanent demiplane that acts like a stasis field when you are not in it, with a 1/per/day portal move entrance to it... but the door should be big enough to march a bunch of constructs in/out...

it's also better than a bag of holding as prisoners won't die in it, and your supplies won't go off, etc...

Yes I know it makes for a pretty feat-starved build, but I suppose the question is: is it situationally/tactically good enough for you (also See It Coming will be useful too)

EDIT: Otherwise you'll need a Portable Hole?
