New to Path.Society, not sure what's allowed.

Pathfinder Society

Silver Crusade

So I just joined the Pathfinder Society and I have a few ideas for characters, I searched for what I could with what's allowed but still have some questions. Would any of these seem legal with their given classes, archetypes, or weapon choice?

Human Paladin with Divine hunter archetype
Half-Orc Monk with the Monk of the four winds or the Zen Archer Archetype
Human/Half-Elf Fighter with TWF Kukri
Dwarf Samurai
Dhamphir Rouge/Sorcerer/Arcane Trickster

I'd appreciate the help as I'd like to show to the first meeting prepared.

Go to the Pathfinder Society section of this website.

Download the following two documents.

1. Guideline to Pathfinder Society play

2. Additional Resources PDF.

The first document has all of the basic rules for for playing in the Network Campaign. The back pages also include your local Venture Officer contact info.

The second document details what material from the various Paizo books is legal for use in the campaign. If it's not listed there as allowed, then it's not.

Welcome to Pathfinder Society.

To find out what is or is not legal for play in Pathfinder Society, you should visit the Additional Resources page. Everything is listed by book and page number, so you need to know both of those things.

There is unofficial documentation at Archives of Nethys. Anything listed with the Glyph of the Open Road next to it should be legal in PFS. Be warned that some of the stuff that is listed as legal is only legal if you have the appropriate GM boons. Also, you should be sure to double-check the Additional Resources page because there are also a few mistakes on the Archives of Nethys.

Also, you need to own the books that these options come from.

As to your specific questions...

Totally legal.

Half-Orc Monk with the Monk of the four winds or the Zen Archer Archetype

Either archetype is legal.

Human/Half-Elf Fighter with TWF Kukri

Legal.

Dwarf Samurai

Legal.

Dhamphir Rouge/Sorcerer/Arcane Trickster

Dhampir requires a GM boon. Everything else is legal.

I hope that helps.

Lazarx's method is the official way to do it, but can be a bit daunting for a newbie. Here's a quicker (but not always quite as accurate) way.

Human Paladin with Divine hunter archetype: Legal. Clicky the link. See the little white x? Means its PFS legal. Thats the symbol of the open road, a sign of the pathfinder society.

Half-Orc Monk with the Monk of the four winds or the Zen Archer Archetype

No. Perfect strike and elemental fist both replace the same class feature.

Human/Half-Elf Fighter with TWF Kukri: Legal.

Dwarf Samurai: Good to go.

Dhamphir Rouge/Sorcerer/Arcane Trickster: See how the white X has a red ring around it? That means that the option is legal but restricted to.. something. In this case a hard as hell to get race boon.

Elemental Fist (Su)

At 1st level, a monk of the four winds gains Elemental Fist as a bonus feat, even if he does not meet the prerequisites. At 5th level, and every five levels thereafter, the monk increases the damage of his Elemental Fist by 1d6 (2d6 at 5th level, 3d6 at 10th level, and so on).

This ability replaces stunning fist.

Perfect Strike (Ex)

At 1st level, a zen archer gains Perfect Strike as a bonus feat, even if he does not meet the prerequisites. A zen archer can use Perfect Strike with any bow. At 10th level, the monk can roll his attack roll three times and take the highest result. If one of these rolls is a critical threat, the monk must choose one of his other two rolls to use as his confirmation roll.

This ability replaces stunning fist.

Note that either archetype is quite legal. What is NOT legal is a character that has BOTH archetypes.

Thanks for all the links and help!

Archives of Nethys is going to be your best friend in the months and years to come.

I'll strike once more at one of my pet peeves and note that the only rouge I am aware of in PFS is worn by those using a courtesan archetype.

Caveate to all of the above.

Remember that for anything outside the core rule book, you *must* own (and bring to game) the book it comes out of. (Either watermarked PDF or physical copy. I recommend watermarked PDF.)

Fortunately Archive of Nethys can help you there, as it lists all of the sources for all of the items on it, usually.

Are "Monk of the Four Winds" and "Zen Archer" archetypes legal for the Unchained version of the Monk class, or only for the Core Rulebook version?

Liberty's Edge 5/5

Only Core.

I believe no monk archetype works with the unchained monk.
