Why are some names on the board red and others blue?

I couldn't find the answer to this question anywhere and I'm not sure which forum this question goes in, so forgive me if it's in the wrong place.

Anyway I noticed that the majority of names on the message board are blue, but some are red. What does this mean?

EDIT: Does a red name mean that the name in question is an Alias?

Red = Alias
Blue = main account forum name.

It's to let you know whether they are Alliance or Horde.

I've noticed from time to time, a person with a blue name, but when you hover over it the alias info pops up. However, I can't think of any good examples right now.

Mark Seifter's is that way (Shows his AKA Rogue Eidolon old name). I believe it also does that for RPGSS Finalists who get real named.
