Gestalt Caster advice

Advice

Hi!
I'm building a gestalt character for a Wrath of the Righteous campaign, as we're using a modified campaign with gestalt instead of mythic. The character is a Tiefling Wizard/Cleric, and I was looking for feat and spell choice advice, as I'm unsure what to do. I figure I should take Craft Wondrous Item at some point, as I can make basically everything, but I'm unsure of what my best offensive options are, as well as what kind of feats would be good to focus on. The character will start at level 3.

Wizard/Cleric might not be your best choice, given that much of Wizard and Cleric actually overlap. You'll pretty much be a Cleric with better spells, or a Wizard with a slightly tougher chassis. If you're determined to focus on that, though, I'd recommend having the Cleric half be a Herald Caller, so you could spontaneously summon. Get some Conjuration focuses and Augmented Summoning for the extra kick. Focus INT over WIS for your Wizard spell DCs and bonus spells, Cleric spells are more for group and self buffing.

I'd personally recommend you swap out Wizard with Monk Unchained or swap out Cleric with Kensai Magus, but your choice.

Are you dead set on wizard and cleric as a tiefling? Your race and class choices conflict with one another enough that it would concern me despite that it is functional. If you want a "cleric with much better spells" then a theologian cleric or an ancient lorekeeper oracle can both get access to a LOT of really great and very lethal spells. What kind of offense do you want? Blasting? Save or die? There are for example cleric builds that kill everything but constructs in 2 turns and there are those that burn their foes to ash.

Without knowing what you want its hard to give proper advice but I find that in general you want to leave all buffing to cleric except haste and heroism and leave the offensive spells to the wizard except bestow curse and similar permanent effects.
